Durante la tarde del viernes, un joven de 19 años falleció al ser arrastrado por la corriente del río Rahue en Osorno cuando se bañaba a la altura del Parque Arnoldo Keim.
La Unidad de Rescate Acuático y Terrestre, URAT, en conjunto con la Unidad de Búsqueda y Rescate Osorno, UBRO, realizaron las labores de búsqueda del cuerpo a partir de las 19:30 horas hasta dar con él cerca de dos horas después a nueve metros de profundidad del río.
La Fiscal de turno de la Fiscalía Local de Osorno, Carolina Echeberry, detalló los lamentables hechos.
Al lugar también concurrieron voluntarios de bomberos. La causa de muerte, tras la autopsia hecha por el Servicio Médico Legal, fue asfixia por sumersión.
